Is the same true in this game?

If so, is there something similar for Adamantium?

In the regular 3.5 there is no automatic bonus to mithral or adamantium items besides being lighter.

Yes most cities have a money changer that is run by gnomes. They offer a banking type service that you can access your money from any money changers with a presentation of a disk.
