No one has checked to see what tye of magical chests they are so all you know is that they have some type of magic on them.
A DM make a typo well that is totaly unheard of. 
Yes they are rings of sustenance not substance. I do a lot of typos that I usually catch sorry about the confusion.

I can't make a new post in the leader thread but just wanted to like let you know that I'm taking up the training for six months. Just putting that here in case they miss it in the leader thread on next post. I'll check in once in awhile to see when the time is up or you'll let me know?

Sorry, just checking as I found it a bit confusing when you said that Lionel's uncle made a deal with a devil and them summoned demons to attack his brother and his kingdom.
Edit: Now I'm not positive, but it sounds like your confusing the term devil and demon and treating them as the same thing in the Solo thread. In D&D they are two (almost) completely different group of monsters. Devils are lawful evil and demons are chaotic evil. They also happen to live on two different planes.
