An Excellent Distraction says... So, how many goblins are actually in the room right now? And are they at a point where I can try to push all of them (Assuming it's only one or two) back out of the room?

There are three total in the room as they just walked in. You get a free action because they are flat footed not thinking they will be attacked. From where you are you can not see if there is just these three or more. A try to push them out will take a strength check and depends what you will be using for the push.
