This is shocking, I suppose though in a massive country like the US it would be easy for immigrants to intentionally go missing and never leave.

Rather off topic, but...
However the same problem is happening in England, the recent government statistics show there are thousands of failed asylum seekers who have chosen to stay and still live in this country.

I am all in support of immigration especially if they are genuinely in danger and willing to work in England to have a better life.

But often these people can't work legally and so turn to crime to get by and then get involved in drugs.

I never could understand how we can track individual cows but we can not track down individual people. I guess we better assign a cow to every illegal person.

I understand your point, but if they are willing to work cheaply for straight up cash. Then I guess it would be easy to get lost in America.
