I think it is already here. The past couple years they have shown the north pole sea to be ice free and causing the polarbears a lot of stress as the open water ways keeps them from their prey.

Explorers: North Pole summers ice free in 10 years History & Civil Business Politics

I think this is pretty sad news, the climate all around the world is deteriorating and although there is now many plans and work going on to help sadly it might be too little too late for places like the North Pole.
