I have been following up this case and like many others, I honestly thought that there was a child in the balloon. I think the authorities should charge him for wasting the police time. I mean there are so many crimes committed each day where child are involved and the police should have been focusing on this. Not chasing after a balloon only to learn that no one was in it. He keeps saying that it was done for a show. Why doesn't he name the show? Or does he mean, it was televised as a publicity stunt? I saw on one of the networks, that the child protective services will be called in to investigate this matter. Here are more details on this report:

I think the poor boy is very overwhelmed and is getting sick with all the attention. When he was being interviewed, he told his mother that he was going to be sick and threw up twice.

What gave you that impression? She admitted that her spouse was obsessed with aliens and is crazy!

Geenie, did you see the link of the video I put? Please check it, she is as crazy as he is! They're both bizarre creatures. She believes as well that we're all descendants of aliens and she is his assistant in all the experiments and she proudly says in that video how her kids burp at the table and fight with each other, all that with a huge smile on her face! She also has a singing hobby...but I will let you check that video to see her performing and then you will know why I said she is as crazy as the husband.

US balloon boy case 'not a hoax'

Colorado police say there is no indication the family of a boy thought to have been carried away by a balloon was hoaxing. Ref. Source 5

Not a hoax? Are they not watching the news? First they say the balloon left the ground accidently and they did not know it had gotten loose then they release video of it actually being launched? They knew their child was not on board but yet they tried to make us all believe that the child got in and somehow launched it on his own accidently. I think the kids need to be taken from these two.

I don't know what kind of training these police officers have but it was obvious it was a stunt from day one! They will probably be charged with conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, false reporting to authorities, and attempting to influence a public servant against the Heenes. All of those are misdemeanors so probably they will just get a fine and that's it. I felt sorry for the little boy that in two separate interviews got sick and vomited when they asked him why he hid. *shaking head*

I hope Social Services step in as well and analyze whether these kids are safe in the present environment.
