I got it wrong about the horoscope and nature thing. This family are the ones believing in science, that we're descendants of aliens, etc. They were in wife swap twice and in one of them the husband got so aggressive that he shouted and throw a glass of water to the wife that was replacing his wife. He looks mental as far as I am concerned.

The wife seem to be Chinese (she has an accent) and seems as unstable as her husband. They have three boys. The oldest is around 9/10 and the youngest 5/6. They allow them AND encourage them to burp in the table, fart at each other's face and the kids show the "middle" finger all the time. The kids are heavily involve into their experiments and they take them to chase storms all the time.

The youngest was found inside a box in the attic of their own home. So your kid is missing and you did not look at every inch of your own house?

The father of a boy thought to have been carried away by a balloon before being found denies the incident was a media stunt. Ref. Source 8

The more and more I hear about this story the more I am convinced that this was a stunt to get them back on tv. The guy can not even look at the camera as he is talking. That makes me think this was all a set up.

They're now going to be re-interviewed. If this is true, I find it disgusting. One, for teaching their kids to lie deliberately and second for wasting police time and other resources that cost thousands and thousands of dollars.

That is ridiculous, even people at the Stock Market stopped to take in this story. Very hard for a six year old to elaborate a lie.

They also called 911, twenty minutes AFTER the balloon was in the air and BEFORE that they called TV stations. Also they said the balloon never intended to leave the ground yet there is a video that shows the father counting down 4, 3, 2, 1, etc and even kicking it to let it fly. The police doesn't seem to be very effective in Colorado, these two (the parents) should pay with actual prison time for wasting all this money and putting their kids in such a horrible situation, no wonder the kids behave in the way they do!
