Looks like we are in for some new news on Kim Jong Il today. Japan has sources (former N. Koreans living in Japan) that say a "major announcement" will be released 10/20. According to the sources, all travel into N.Korea has been suspended with no timetable for resuming the limited travel of past times. The announcement is believed to be one of the three...major update on Kim Jong Il, change in government (chosen successor) or a coup.

Interesting that the photos released of Kim inspecting a army unit in the past few weeks was likely not a current photo because of the foliage shown.

I do not think the pictures look like they were taken this or last month. I think the photos are older photos. I could be wrong. It is interesting that they are building a new missile platform. Makes me wonder if he is planning something big?
