The United States is not a democracy. A democracy is a very poor form of government that has very fatal flaws in its makeup. The United States if a Republic, and there is a world of difference in the two. |

LOL,
JB, We wouldn't take you out. You're our good buddy! We're allies, remember?
My congressmen are supposed to know that, but are the main offenders in their idiotic rhetoric.
As a matter of fact, I voice it quite vociferously.
"Dear Senator,
I don't know what school you attended, perhaps in the jungles of South America, but...
you get the drift.
This is from an email I just received. Thought maybe it would lighten the situation a little.
"You know the world is getting crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the USA of arrogance and the Germans don't want to go to war!"
> Anonymous....
And may I add that the USA seems to behaving more like the USSR of past:
"The US delegation has walked out of the United Nations as Iraq condemns US aggression.
John Negroponte, the US ambassador, left the Security Council chamber while Mohammed al-Douri, his Iraqi counterpart, was winding up his speech condemning US aggression against Iraq. "

Well, the title is a bit misleading.
It isn't the USA's nations.
The UN is, as they have so dramatically proven, entirely worthless when it comes to actually doing something.
The USA doesn't want them.
The Brits, Aussies and US went in and did the work of kicking Hussein's teeth out.
Now you see the UN weenies running around whining "we want a role in this too".
"We want something to do, too".
Yeah, sure. Here, go hand out candy bars.
