Yeah, it's truly a sin when countries like Iran and North Korea use innocent people as pawns in their machinations. There is a special place in Hell reserved for those the people in charge of those countries and countries like them.

US President Donald Trump had a day of meetings and visits to holy sites in Israel, the second stop on his overseas trip.

In Jerusalem, he became the first sitting US president to visit the Western Wall, one of Judaism's holiest sites. Trump left a note at the wall.

After meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the President said achieving peace in the Middle East is “one of the toughest deals of all,” but he had a feeling “we’re going to get there eventually … I hope.” Netanyahu said for the first time in his life he sees “a real hope for change.”

Ahead of his talks with Netanyahu, Trump sought to rebut claims that he had damaged Israeli intelligence capabilities by revealing highly classified information to Russian officials in the Oval Office earlier this month. "Just so you understand, I never mentioned the word or the name Israel," he said.

The accusations, however, never suggested that Trump told his Russian visitors that the information came from Israel. Instead, the information Trump revealed is thought to have been so specific that its origin was clear.

Earlier in the day, the President and first lady visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and Trump held talks with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. Ref. CNN.

The fact that the press has the audacity to reveal where that information may have come from, over and over, in print, and then blame President Trump infuriates me. First, if he did reveal something to Russia that was specific enough to reveal a source, still a big if, he didn't reveal it to the whole world. But the press did. Second, what gives the press the right to reveal this to everyone? Goodness gracious, are they not Americans? Had we had the press in WW 2 we have today, we'd still be fighting WW 2 because they'd have given all out secret to the enemy.

I can just see it.

Nimitz orders carriers to intercept the Japanese fleet outside of Midway Island. One carrier was quickly repaired to bring the numbers up to three, along with seven cruisers and a host of destroyers. The Japanese probably think the American fleet to crippled to react here, but our reports indicate otherwise.

Unnamed sources report that General Eisenhower plans to invade Normandy on June 6th, 1944. It will start with paradrops by the 82 ABN, 101st ABN, and British Para Division well inland and earlier. Even though the Germans think the assault will be in the Pas de Calais we have it from good sources this isn't the case.

I'm sorry, but this press we have today reveals secrets and the consequences be damned. People get hurt or die because of these revelations.

US opens new Embassy in Jerusalem as dozens die in Gaza clashes

The US officially relocated its Embassy to Jerusalem on Monday, formally upending decades of American foreign policy in a move that was met with with clashes and protests along the Israeli-Gaza border.

At least 41 Palestinians were killed in Gaza as deadly protests took place ahead of and during the ceremony in Jerusalem — making it the deadliest day there since the 2014 Gaza war. Follow live updates here.

President Donald Trump did not attend the ceremony in Jerusalem's Arnona neighborhood, but in a video message broadcast at the event he congratulated Israel, saying the opening had been "A long time coming." Ref. CNN.
