Even though I understand what this Hispanic leader is saying, what is the police supposed to do in a situation like this?

Hispanic and black young adult cancer patients more likely to die of their disease
Hispanic white and non-Hispanic black cancer patients between ages 15 and 29 may be more likely than same-aged white patients to die of their disease, according to a new study. The finding is partially but not wholly explained by socioeconomic status, meaning that in addition to the health risks associated with low socioeconomic status or stage of presentation, there are additional health risks associated specifically with these racial/ethnic identities. Black, Hispanic children, youth rarely get help for mental health problems
Black youth are about half as likely as their white counterparts to get mental health care despite having similar rates of mental health problems, and Hispanic youth also get only half as much mental health care as whites. Types of care included visits to psychiatrists, social workers and psychologists, as well as substance abuse counseling and mental health counseling by pediatricians and other doctors.
