I hope this leads to something other than war. We don't really want to fight in three wars at one time. That would be ludicrous. Hopefully they can work things out and come to a peaceful solution. I actually don't think what they do is the US business, we aren't the rulers of the world. But that being said, when has George W. Bush ever listened to anyone besides himself. If he decides its time to go to war, it really won't matter what we the people say, or what the world says.

I'm not sure what to make of this. If the report was from the UN then many would say it does not count, but the fact that this is a US report nakes one remember the happenings of the Iraq war.

Nuclear report a victory - Iran

A US report on Iran's nuclear programme is a "great victory", President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says.

Could the report be biased based on US citizens not wanting to go to war with Iran?

Bush has long since forgotten to care about what the American and his electoral base wants...I would take it that this is what they found.

Given the statements made by Iran, I doubt that it will end there. He may be using this technology for a 'peaceful' purpose now, but definitely not in the long run.

I really do not see that this report amounts to anything substantive concerning the U.S. policies toward Iran.

From the Article

QUOTE

It (the report) said that Iran was continuing to enrich uranium in defiance of demands by the UN Security Council...

Later in the report it states

QUOTE

Iran has provided sufficient access to individuals and has responded in a timely manner to questions and provided clarifications and amplifications on issues raised in the context of the work plan

So the report contradicts itself. The United States will probably take the report with a grain of salt.

Regardless of Iran's supposed cooperation, they still desire the destruction of a country and has stated that it is an enemy to the United States. I do not trust them.

I hope we do not go to War, but I am beginning to believe that regardless of the administration (this one or the next) that Iran and the United States will end up exhausting all diplomatic avenues and there will be a War.

If the US did go to war then it would be a situation like Iraq, but probably a lot worse. Saddam tried to enter Iran with a surprise attack and US backing and he was sent packing. Of course the US is a lot mightier and stronger, but you have to know that the people there are probably more zealous than the Iraqis.
