FNC is saying that the US just shot down an Iranian drone in Iraqi airspace. They got it in reasonable condition so they are inspecting it. I wonder who is giving them that technology?

Drones are not that sophisticated of technology. I would suspect that Iran developed them internally. It would cost a lot less than building nuclear technology. Iran's scientist are more than capable of developing such a vehicle.

True, I was thinking that Iran maybe just bought it and was suggesting that the Russians also threw in some drones for good measure along with the fueling rods. Nevertheless, I have not heard of anyone in the Middle East using them save for the US, so having the enemy spy in this manner is new for me. Also, from what I gathered the US has known that the Iranians were using them for a long time but it was the first time one came deep within Iraqi airspace.

Interesting, but not really all that surprising. I have no doubt that the Iranians have been helped along by Russia, even if they could come up with drone technology on their own. This conflict is far from over, no matter what "they" say. Pulling out the troops is just for show.

Honestly, with Iran knowing for sure that Israel itching to blow up the Bushehr nuclear plant, since the Russians found out that they were working a deal with Georgia to use their airspace for a strike. They also know that Israel has asked repeatedly of the US to use Iraq's airspace for a strike. If I were them, I would be monitoring as much as I could as well. They are obviously going the same direction as India and Pakistan. Those countries were strickly talked to, sanctioned and discouraged from developing nuclear weapons. After they blew up their first nuke, they were part of the group and had to be dealt with as opposed to being sanctioned...Iran is going down the same path.

I have thought for a long time now that the next major war that faces this world will start in the middle east. I am glad to hear that we are talking more to Iran. I still think Iran is going to have something to do with starting WWIII.
