What the US and the EU has to remember is that the UN is made up of those for and against the wishes of the US and there are some big powers (Russia, China) that will just say "no" because they know it upsets the US not because they even care. Iran is a great pawn for the kings to fight over, but wait, Iran when last I checked is a sovereign nation. They will just keep moving in the direction they want to go regardless of any sanctions imposed by those outside their borders.

If your intentions are genuine will you build a secret facility? Will you go around talking about how bad the Jews are and that Israel should be wiped off the map? Will you even call your country "Islamic Republic". These are not the signs of peace, what are they thinking? It's obvious that the Iranian leadership are hell bent on destruction.
