What the US and the EU has to remember is that the UN is made up of those for and against the wishes of the US and there are some big powers (Russia, China) that will just say "no" because they know it upsets the US not because they even care. Iran is a great pawn for the kings to fight over, but wait, Iran when last I checked is a sovereign nation. They will just keep moving in the direction they want to go regardless of any sanctions imposed by those outside their borders.

Former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter joins us to discuss what he calls "politically motivated hype" over Iran's nuclear program. The Obama administration has warned of sanctions unless Iran allows inspections of a newly disclosed nuclear site. Iran insists the site has been used for peaceful purposes.
