USA vs Iran - Page 51

What the US and the EU has to remember is that the UN is made up of those for and against the wishes of the US and there are some big powers (Russia, China) that will just say "no" because they know it upsets the US not because they even care. Iran is a great pawn for the kings to fight over, but wait, Iran when last I checked is a sovereign nation. They will just keep moving in the direction they want to go regardless of any sanctions imposed by those outside their borders.

I was recently analyzing the whole nuclear scenario with Iran and you have to wonder if any of the leadership ever read "The Art of War". I mean here is the latest news:

international QUOTE (BBC)
Iran has defied international calls by secretly building an underground uranium enrichment plant, the US, Britain and France say.

If your intentions are genuine will you build a secret facility? Will you go around talking about how bad the Jews are and that Israel should be wiped off the map? Will you even call your country "Islamic Republic". These are not the signs of peace, what are they thinking? It's obvious that the Iranian leadership are hell bent on destruction.

Fmr. UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter Warns Against "Politically Motivated Hype" on Iran Nuke Program

Former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter joins us to discuss what he calls "politically motivated hype" over Iran's nuclear program. The Obama administration has warned of sanctions unless Iran allows inspections of a newly disclosed nuclear site. Iran insists the site has been used for peaceful purposes. The row comes just after Iran's test-firing of medium- and long-range missiles and before Iranian officials are due to hold talks with the US and five other nations in Geneva. Ref. Source 1

GENEVA - Iran agreed in principle Thursday to ship most of its current stockpile of enriched uranium to Russia, where it would be refined for exclusively peaceful uses, in what Western diplomats called a significant, but interim, measure to ease concerns over its nuclear program. Ref. Source 6
