Pentagon confirms the U.S. Killed powerful Iranian military leader Soleimani in an airstrike that took place in Baghdad. The Defense Department said it conducted the attack at President Donald Trump's direction as a "Defensive action" against Gen. Qassim Soleimani, who it said was planning further attacks on American diplomats and service members. Soleimani was an extremely influential figure inside Iran, heading Iran's elite Quds Force, part of the country's hard-line paramilitary Revolutionary Guard Corps. Ref. USAToday.
Oil prices will go up and its already starting to rise where I am. Our troops will be at higher risk. Irony is that Trump was pulling out troops recently only to have them sent back. I can't help but think that this strike against the Iranian general may be a distraction about the impeachment.

There are a lot of threats coming out of Iran. They say they will react militarily but they have known to do a lot of bombing and things like that. If Iran really wants to change the people need to rise up and stop letting religious dictators rule their land.
