Russia's Putin Says U.S. Sanctions Are Leading to 'Dead End':

President Barack Obama said today that the Malaysia Airlines plane in Ukraine was shot down and is an "Outrage of unspeakable proportion."
He identified one American who died in the crash as Quinn Lucas Schansman.
He also said that pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine have received a "Steady flow" Of arms and training from Russia, including anti-aircraft weapons.
The President called for an immediate cease-fire in Ukraine between the Kiev government and pro-Russian rebels in eastern regions so that an international investigation can proceed with no tampering of evidence. Ref. CNN
New U.S. Sanctions against Russia will target three major Russian banks, the Treasury Department said Tuesday. They follow the European Union decision Tuesday to limit Russian access to European capital markets and end arms sales to Russia. The banks will no longer have access to financing for any longer than 90 days. Ref. USAToday
President Barack Obama announced stepped-up U.S. Sanctions as he criticized Russia for supporting separatists in Ukraine.
