Three missing North Dakota college softball players
DICKINSON, N.D. -- Police say three missing North Dakota college softball players have been found dead in their vehicle, which was pulled from a pond northwest of Dickinson. Police Lt. Rod Banyai said Tuesday night that police are "still investigating" the cause of the deaths. Authorities have been searching since Sunday night for 22-year-old Kyrstin Gemar of San Diego; 20-year-old Afton Williamson, of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; and 21-year-old Ashley Neufeld of Brandon, Manitob Ref. Apparently it was a tragic accident but still kind of suspicious. I think they were driving a jeep and that's one vehicle I don't trust in the least.

It is sad to see that these three young ladies were found dead. I think this is a big tragic accident. I guess none of them knew how to get out of a vehicle that was sumerged. I would hope that all fathers explained to their children how to get out of a vehicle that is in water so they could survive.
I am not trying to be disrespectful but it seems we're talking about kids born in the technology era who wasted phone calls to friends and family to tell them they were in trouble instead of trying to get out of a car that was flooding! It is a terrible tragedy but a good reminder to all of us of what we should be training our kids to do in similar circumstances.
