Hollow Earth And The Lost 10 Tribes.

I understand that most people would think that this is crazy to think that the earth may be hollow. But it was also a crazy notion not so long ago to think that the earth was flat. About 4% of the population believes in the hollow earth and I believe that it goes along the lines of Mormon doctrine. I will assume that perhaps 1 out of ten people that enjoy deep doctrine may agree or are willing to keep an open mind about it.

I had a book on it that I can't find right now that explained it all very well with more scripture references. I will try to find it.

There are also many other legends of the northern people. Some of the stories are similar to the Admiral's as far as what they saw.

I would be more than willing to take an expidition to find out.

You may be on to something commonly discussed by BYU & Ricks Students 35-40 years ago. There was opinion that UFO's could either be the Lost Tribes, or City of Enoch people, as both are to return before & during the Savior's second coming.

In the 19th century many church leaders felt they were either "hidden" in the north or located OFF the earth on a different sphere north of Earth. Later, post-war thinking was more of "scattered" people blended with everyone else to be sifted from the nations as Ephraim, Manasseh, and Judah (principally) have been. This viewpoint is still held by many, with much scriptural validity. After all, no known opening has been found in the Arctic...

Along with this viewpoint is a growing opinion - also with scriptural validity- that they are NOT found as a MAIN BODY among current polulations. Christ himself told the Nephites that not only would people have the record of the Jews (Bible) but also THEIR record (Book of Mormon). Further he mentions he will visit the Lost Tribes which were hidden away (but not unto the Father) and one day we would have their record also!

While reading D&C 133 in the Temple one night it struck me that Christ would command the great deep and it would be driven back into the NORTH COUNTRIES and the islands shall become one land (v:23) and the earth shall be as it was before it was divided (v:24, days of Peleg). Further, verses 26-34 describes people who are IN THE NORTH COUNTRIES coming back in such a dramatic and spectacular way that Jeremiah says it will vastly overshadow the passing through the Red Sea. They shall "Smite the rock and the ice shall flow down at their presence, and a "highway in the great deep" shall be cast up... Verse 28 is VERY telling: "Their enemies shall become a prey unto them", and "the boundaries of the everlasting hills shall tremble at their presence" (v:31). This doesn't sound like a group of nomads! Sounds more like someone with technology who could destroy Russia, China OR an unrepentant USA.

In the 1930's the Nazis had a secret project based on back-engineering an unknown craft that crashed in the black forest. A person with the craft identified himself as from the "Tribe of Issachar," agreeing to assist in exchange for release. This produced craft known as Flugelrads tested during the final days of WWII, and copied in the USA during the Cold War by captured German scientists in the 1950's.

As for what we see on TV and popular media regarding "Aliens," I can reference two books written by ordinary people who had extraordinary experiences. Both are LDS.
The first book is FIRE IN THE SKY by Travis Walton of Arizona, and the second is THROUGH THE WINDOW OF LIFE by Suzanne Freeman of Utah. Travis had an 'encounter' first hand, and Suzanne had a near-death experience of future events.

As for myself, the longer I live the more I realize how little I know. I always try to keep an open mind regarding future events, unknown mysteries, and unknown peoples. I try to follow the current prophet and keep oil in my lamp. However, my inquisitive mind still looks for answers in 2009 and beyond.

Besides the above mentioned scriptures, after the dedication of the Kirtland Temple in D&C section 109, section 110 talks about the vision Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery saw of the Savior (vs 1-10). After this vision, Moses appeared to them and committed the keys of the gathering of Israel from the four parts of the earth, AND the leading of the TEN TRIBES from the LAND OF THE NORTH (vs 11).


There are two books written about the subject with several testimonials by church leaders - including the prophet Joseph Smith - that shed more light on this subject.
They are: "The Lost Tribes" by R. Clayton Brough, and "The Ten Lost Tribes" by Clay McConkie. Both books have useful information in them for the reader.

Nothing is ever said of Flying Saucers or anything like that, but some accounts do mention relocation to a different planet or land mass of some type. All we can do is read the scriptures and listen to our leaders. If the Lord wants them hidden they will stay that way no matter what conjecture we come up with. They will come to us for the higher priesthood and Temple ordinances, but they will also have treasures of their own.They (along with the Lamanites) will help build the New Jerusalem as well.

I won't be able to quote any sources mainly because I feel lazy today but research "Melchizedek Order" and "underground", "Telos" and probably "Alien" and "UFO"

When researching various conspiracy theories, there are accounts of people traveling underground and spelunking and running across extremely tall men that claim to be the order of Melchizedek and come from an underground city called "Telos."

They went on to explain that they would be worshiped falsely if they were to resurface now but wait for the day of "Cleansing" and that their God will let me know when to come out.

To further explain, in the scriptures when relating to the earth and it's inhabitants as a whole, it always says "Above the earth, on the earth and all things underneath the earth" Really! You'll find it says it quite a bit!

When you think about mother earth, that she has passions, earthquakes and storms when Jesus was crucified. She was sad, of course. Recently when the Calif. Judge overturned the vote of the people the first time about gay marriage, within six days an electrical storm passed over the entire state starting 1,800 fires. It would also seem likely that she would have a womb. An interesting thing about the flood was it is estimated that if it rained for 40 days/nights, the sea level would rise about 900 feet. Not quite enough to cover the mountains. But there is "fountains of the great deep" that added to the volumn of water. It had to come from the inner earth. I've read lots of scientific evidence about the earth being hollow, but scriptural evidence to me, brings it all home.

So perhaps these three witnesses are enough to establish the truth.

There is a book by Dr Walter Brown ( non-LDS) that has a flood theory I have found fascinating. It mentions the primary water source as coming from deep in the earth.

Interestingly, D&C 133 mentions the waters going BACK to the north countries from 'whence they came' and would culminate with the return of the lost tribes. Most people find a hollow earth theory absurd, but I'm keeping an open mind.
