How To Zip A File

Often I get clients asking me this question. I will use this Thread as a reference point.

In this example we are going to be using "7-zip" which is a free program but there are many others that do the same thing, both free and paid.

1. To download 7-zip: Source 3

2. Once downloaded simply install by double clicking on the exe file and follow the instructions.

3. Now basically you will be able to go to any folder, right click on that folder and you will have an option to use 7-zip to compress it. Choose that option or check out these:
