There are some that think if you don't know enough about what is going on around you and who has control of the decisions that effect your life, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. The DontVote org was developed to counter the "Get Out and Vote" effort. Believing that the "Get Out and Vote" effort was successful in bringing new totally uneducated people to the polls, "Don't Vote" is promoting voting only when you are aware of what and who you are voting for. Here is a fun test about the people that we see and affect our lives in the US...do you know them?

So how did you do? Should you vote in the next election?
Message Edited... JB: I changed the title since it is not whether you are "able" to vote, but if you "should" vote, plus we have many variant Topics about voting and did not want everyone to mix up this one as it is specifically dealing with Don't Vote. |

No. The quiz is dated (probably just before the election last year), but it is a pretty good test to see who you know. I missed one question. Not really sure who it was, but was probably their position because I think that I got all the names right.
I think we would all be shocked at what the average for the test would be.
OH wait...I just saw. I missed Al Gore's position. I really though he was a professor at a university.
