It has now come to light that the 14-year-old boy who was tortured by Guyana Police officers at the Leonora Police Station was, while in Police custody, examined by Dr Mahendra Chand, at the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station on October 29, 2009, shortly after the abuse occurred.
