I just recently received a copy of The Book of Mormon and I was about to start reading it and I stopped myself. I figured I would ask the LDS members on here if there is a reading guide for one to use. I would like to have one if you know of one, I just want to understand and get the most out of it, and I don't want to read it from cover to cover when there is a better way to read it.
Actually, starting from the front is fine since it is more like a storybook and not like the Bible where it jumps around from different periods. This may also be of help: Source 9
Did you receive it as part of a telephone order? Are missionaries visiting with you? You are welcomed to ask any questions you like and I will try my best to answer them.
Thanks for the link. It is very helpful. I found the Book in grandfather's office (He's a Southern Baptist minister) and decided that I would read it for myself. I love reading and learning new things especially when it comes to philosophy. I am also very open-minded and take a little bit from everything I read/study. I don't believe that one group of people had/have everything perfect and correct. I believe ultimately its all perspective and a personal journey. None of us will honestly know the perfect and inerrant truth until we die.
