Thanksgiving In Education

Schools feast on Thanksgiving stories

At Jefferson Elementary School in Carlsbad, students learn that developed communities existed in New England long before the Pilgrims arrived. At Lexington Elementary in El Cajon, students at the school with the highest poverty rate in East County learn that Thanksgiving is a time to help the homeless and elderly. Ref. Source 4
