First they closed the street in front of the white house because that would keep people from driving through the fence now they are closing the sidewalk so people do not get over the fence. Are we going to close all the streets and sidewalks around the white house next? Maybe keep people farther away? Maybe make people walking around in Washington DC at all illegal.

I think the security at the white house has to once again work on its self image. At one time no one questioned the Secret Service and what they stood for. Now with the past news and todays age of cameras and cell phones everywhere they need to be at the top of their game and prove that they are the elite agency that they are.

Agreed, they have a very tarnished reputation now and it will take a lot of work to get it back. I mean, the stuff that happened when President Obama occupied the White House was horrendous. We should do a better job protecting our Presidents.
