Trunk Car Sons Locks Man Us

OK it was a trans am. If it was a older model they were not locked in as they could crawl from it to the back seat. If it was a newer model they can not be locked in due to the safety pull latch that all cars have. If they were locked in a trunk how did another person spot them in there? Something is not adding up here.
