Obese Air Passenger Has Picture Taken
You can click on the link provided to look at the picture. Sorry, but it's ridiculous. The man clearly does not fit in the seat. It is not fair for those who need to pass as well as the air hostesses when they need to serve the drinks and food. I think is fair to say they should buy two tickets. I know, it is expensive but to travel like that is NOT safe.

It is not clear if the image has been altered but Mr Daly wrote: "This is sent to me with the absolute assurance that it's a genuine picture taken by a flight attendant at American Airlines. The F/A took it to show her manager what was happening on the aircraft (757?) and why she was unhappy about it. Seems the guy paid for only one seat and the gate staff let him board....

I would agree with the two seat purchase, but that means he gets 2 of everything. He gets 2 meals, 2x the luggage allowance and 2x the frequent flier miles.

There are times where one has to think to themselves that they will need to buy two seats to fit comfortably in a seat of a plane. I know the seats on a plane are not the biggest seats but they are not small either. I think in this case the person should be required to purchase two seats. But in the same token he should get double everything like Vincenzo said.
