A number of makers advertise 32 or so on the highway -General Motors is big on that - but it's hard to imagine actually getting that number running so hard up the turnpike, no quarter asked or given. The slow lane's hitting 80 mph, and almost nobody's in the slow lane. Getting 32 in that setting is exceptional. Ref. Source 8

Legacy Subaru

Getting over 32 miles per gallon while traveling at 80 MPH is impressive to me. I do not drive that fast but if it gets that good at those speeds what is it getting at a slower speed like 72? I think I will take a harder look at this vehicle as a possible new vehicle.
