Hello, I to am a transgendered person and I am LDS, my name is Laurie. I have known since very young that I was a girl! And I when I told my mother she was very supportive and told me that she had a misscarrage that was a girl that would have been 3 months old when I was born, and I was conseived within a month of her misscarriage. She told me that she believed, I was that girl she lost. I hated my life as a man, and have found that I have been the happiest now as a woman. I have found real warmth in Relief Society and have receive many calling's as such in the church. I have a very strong testimony of the church and hope that you all learn to accept me for who I am. Wether you look at me as a man or a woman.
