This is a worry. Intensive farming is cruel and ultimately provides an inferior product. A happy unit (cow, pig, sheep etc) equates to good produce (meet, eggs, wool etc). A stressed unit equates to substandard products. And what will have to happen when the product is second-rate? Steroids and other nasties will be pumped into the unit which will make the consumer (ie us) less satisfied and/or sick.
But at least it will cost less money....or will it?
