Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - It was one of those awkward situations fairly unique to mixed martial arts. Lanky 6 foot 1 welterweight DaMarques Johnson was brought into the Arizona training camp of Efrain Escudero for a week this past September to help replicate lanky 6 foot 1 Cole Miller for the lightweight prospect's UFC 103 bout. Also in camp was Escudero's regular training partner, 170-pounder Edgar Garcia, who had a feeling that one day he would be meeting Johnson for real in the Octagon.
