Sol Price
San Diego retail innovator Sol Price has died. He was 91 years old.
Price is credited with creating the membership warehouse stores concept, starting with Federated Stores, which became FedMart, in 1954 then Price Club in 1976 which ultimately became Costco. Ref. SignOnSanDiego.com
