I liked Underworld so I watched this because its by the same producers. I was plesantly surprised that it had an actual storyline and not just another shoot'em up or bite'em up like other films. Its about the true nature of werewolves and how they were once worshipped and now are in hiding because if they are known people set out to kill them. I liked the part they said that you can't be bitten and then become a werewolf, its either you're a werewolf or you're not. I thought it was a good film.
What I didn't get about Blood and Chocolate is the guy going through so much for a girl he just meets in the church. Plus there's like one part where he was angry with her for not keeping away from him when he found out she was a wolf and I was like dude the girl was trying to keep you away from the beginning but you didn't get the message! I agree it was a good film though. I can see a part 2 but this is nothing like Underworld if that is what Underworld fans are looking for.
Blood and Chocolate is all about romance. The name of the movie gives you that and its not just because she worked in a chocolate house. The guy was acting like a little boy fulfilling some kind of fantasy I guess but he didn't know how real she was.
Maybe he was just incredibly lonely since he like was on the run for so long from beating up his father. Strange that though, if his father was an army ranger how could he beat him up?
