I tried to put humor to a comment that said basically that I have to prove that normal humans are normal.
I guess I failed.
Perhaps I did so because I had no evidence to show.
You have first hand knowledge of this issue. Do you have evidence that your relatives are normal that can be passed on?
Suzie
You were the one to imply that they are not normal and as you say, even scientist cannot prove this.
Thanks for the opportunity to look silly trying. Good debate tactic.
I am sure you can out debate me. I do not care. I, unlike you will not discriminate or denigrate people without just cause. You can have the debate if you like. I will stay with morals instead of a debate victory at their cost.
You discriminate and denigrate Gays by demanding proof of normalcy. Do you have proof that you are normal?
I have the proof I need that you have little in the way of morals.

Well, gee, I was going to say...
that it depends on what "normal" means, as one of my aunt's has a number of mental issues, though none that keep her from functioning and holding a job and such, while the other, the doctor, obviously is almost the epitome of normal, publicly - she's more "normal" than just about anybody else I know, family or friend.
If it's overall, or specific to one or two qualities, etc. I used to consider, and to an extent, still do, though it isn't popular, homosexuals to be "deviant", but only insofar as their behavior is deviant compared to what I understand, for me, as being normal. As far as objective nature and such, since they are apparently predisposed to this from what research I have seen into the subject (which admittedly isn't a lot), then I'd say it is "natural", in that this is the way they "came out". There are arguments and claims against this interpretation, but for me, if there is empirical research that concludes one thing, but only (as far as I know) tradition or dogma and moral grounds to assert that homosexuality is a choice, I have to give the win to empiricism.
But chances are, GreatestIAm may be parting company after the last post or two, so I'll say Aloha.
Since we're in the religion board let me just say where does God allows homosexuality and where people get the idea people "born" to be that way? I would love to read bible sources, thanks.
Although I have actually seen someone argue that there is indeed biblical precedent that homosexuality is NOT a sin and is okay with God, it was mostly based on a passage that could be interpreted that those who don't read the bible but behave morally anyway, are still eligible for Heaven, so even I have to say that is a bit of a reach. And as far as it being inborn, I may be one of the only ones here who think that, and as one of my previous posts state, I myself am not a Christian so I certainly can't provide biblical evidence of this, but do recall the few biblical prohibitions about people lying with those of their own sex, so I can't deny it is biblically condemned.
