Always Observed But...
Has there been something you always wanted to say about a movie or television show and actually thought there might be reason for it by the author / inventor of the idea?
For instance...
In the television show 'Sliders' why is it if they slide through various times and places  why is it that they always seem to land just close enough to ground or water to be safe? How come they never come in from 100 feet up?
In Matrix... If you could 'imagine' anything you want to be, why would you limit your power to fighting in Kung fu / Nijitsu style when you could be superman?
I have two pet peeves when it comes to movies:
1. The women are always so stupid, they always run in to a corner, on a roof, into the woods, in the water. Why can't they run into a crowd, they are always weak, they can't fire a gun or use a any type of weapons. With they exception of Charlie's Angels
2. They can't run without falling...if you have on 10" heels take them off so that you can get the heck out of there.
So true! I'd like to add one - just when you think they made a good movie and it will stan on its own they come up with part 2 and part 3 until it gets way boring.
This is why I do not go to many movies but prefer to watch them at home on DVD. Some of the things that get me is the impossible stuff. A person with a handgun shooting 40 to 50 shots out of it before it is empty or refilled. Especially when you can see it is a six shot revolver. One of the things that always gets me is if a explosion is going to happen close just turn around and jump because you will not get injured that way according to all tv shows and movies.
Heck if I was in the matrix and could be anything I want to be I sure would not be wasting time with weapons or fighting skills.
