This is an NBC production featuring several different professionals in the protective services. It contains a lot of drama and fast forwarding / rewinding of events so that you get the story from several different perspectives. What is your rating?
I really liked this show myself, especially because of the different perspectives of one crime. Too bad they cancelled it.
Wait, they cancelled it? For what silly reason? This is the thing with television I cannot understand, they have a quality show available and then they cancel it only to replace it with something that stimulates little brain activity.
Yes, unfortunately with the US mentality of sex and comedy obessions, Boomtown was too thought provoking and mentally stimulating to keep the majority interest. Their season 1 DVD is now available at Amazon.com, which would not be a bad buy.
That is bad, so you are saying only one season? I find that hard to believe, is it that they are done with it altogether or is it that they are just holding off for a little while? One of the characters I like I too see is the cocky white cop that always has a rude answer for everything. Not sure what his name is...
Yes sir, it has been cancelled for good. After only one season. The character you are referring too I believe is the one played by Neal McDonough. Here is his IMDB profile for verification purposes. I too was very shocked like you are JB when I heard that it had been cancelled.

Nah that is the lawyer, but he is a good actor too. The one I am thinking of was always talking about how he was under investigation, and seemed to carry around a grudge for that, he later became 'buddies' with the black detective after saving his life. Sorry for the lack of names here.
