LAS VEGAS - After a slow start and spotting Oregon State an early touchdown, the BYU Cougars scored 37 straight points Tuesday night at a windy Sam Boyd Stadium to win their third Las Vegas Bowl in the past five years, blasting the Beavers 44-20. PROVO - Jaime Hill, BYU's defensive coordinator and secondary coach stepped down on Saturday following BYU's loss to Utah State on Friday, giving the Cougars a 1-4 start to BYU's season, the worst start since 1973.
