My absolute favorite so far is "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. I think because it often touched on eternity and loved ones. I always always cry at the end.
As far as an everyday kind of movie, I still love watching "African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Kathrine Hepburn. I had heard about it but never watched it until a few years ago. It was the theme of enduring to the end in spite of everything. However, I could have done without the scene with the leeches!
Then, to be totally mindless, anything of Mel Brooks...would that effect my next interview with my bishop??
Has anyone seen "Finding Nemo" yet? Ha ha ha! Almost as warped as Looney Tunes.
I'de have to go with Lord of the Rings the Return of the King for my favorite movie. It was too awsome to describe. I can't think of too many other movies that I watched in a theater that were as good as it. Of course I don't go to the theater very often.
I don't know HOW this came to be... But my all-time favorite movies will me in the Tremors series. Right now there's only 3, but I was told that there might be a 4th one coming out as well. I LOVE them, sooo funny. OH! And if it counts, my favorite anime tv series is GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka).
hehehehe....tremors was an awesome series!
though my favorite movie would be american outlaws staring colin farrell...combines action with comedy! awesome, awesome movie.
i pretty much enjoyed any movie with shooting, explosions, and comedy....(LoTR -3, Matrix - 3, Black Hawk Down, Princess Bride, Emperor's New Groove, Spiderman - 2, Xmen - 2....list goes on)
I have a long list of favorite movies. My all time favorite is Demolition Man. I am not a big Stallone fan. I originally watched it because Sandra Bullock is in it and she a favorite of mine. If you've never seen it believe me it's worth a look, even if you don't care for Stallone type movies. It is very violent and the language is quite bad, but there is so much humor in it that I love it. I still wonder how the three seashells are used. It also features Jesse Ventura in a very small role, long before he became Governor of Minnesota. It's just a cool movie.
