movie Chicago [review]

Has anyone here seen the movie Chicago?
It stars Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere. Appearing in smaller roles are Queen Latifa and John C. Reilly.

I dunno if it's just my bad mood, but I didn't like the plot very much. Seems like the same old murder story: woman kills lover, blames it on husband, gets caught, goes to jail, gets lawyer, uses the media to her advantage, goes to trial. Blah blah blah.

However, the musical numbers in this movie were fantastic. I'll have these songs stuck in my head for many a day now.

I haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet.  But I may pick it up and check it out this evening.  I have alot of good reviews about this film.  So, I don't think I would be disappointed with it.
