This is not asking which one is the most handsome, but which actor truly played the role of James Bond to perfection.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to go with Sean Connery. He has always been my favorite Bond. I grew up with Roger Moore so of course I like him very much also, but I am still going to have to give second place to Pierce Brosnan by a nudge, although Roger Moore was great so don't get me wrong. Although to answer your question as to who played the role the bestI'm not sure if you have seen Die Another Day but I thought it was a breath of fresh air...one of the best so far.

To answer your question though, who played the role to it's best....Sean Connery in my book.

I think Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan were the best too...Connery is an EXCELENT actor while Brosnan is a good actor too but really he's just cute. ;D. LOL

All the 007 dvd movies I have are only the ones with Sean Connery in them.    Sean Connery is the only James Bond for me.

I think Bronson just becuz in my opinon he plays the part of 007 to the tee.Dont get me wrong all the others are good but they just dont play it like bronson.

Connery was the ultimate personality of bond, though when I think of bond he has Moore's Face... As for Brosnan he is an admirable actor that has both the attitude and face ... but still not Connery...
