Abel Vs. Cain

Abel vs. Cain

Was Abel physically weaker than Cain that he would allow to be killed by his brother?

Nothing in the scriptures indicate their physical strength, but it does not matter because even if Abel was stronger Cain could have caught him by surprise. A good question will be... Why didn't God accept Cain's sacrifice in the first place, since this seemed to infuriate Cain to kill his brother Abel.

Why didn't God accept Cain's sacrifice?

In the process of time Cain decided eventually to get off his behind an brought his offering.
And what about the quality of his offering, while his brother's offering was highly praised, his was not. Did Cain give of his best?

Did not Jehovah God lovingly warned Cain that his thinking an actions needed readjusting? verses 6,7

Comments: Was there ever a request by God for a sacrifice of vegetables? Probably Cain offered something God didn't ask for.

Excellent question Jones.
I believe grain offerings were a requirement under the Mosaic Law
The Israelites also gave the first fruits as a show of appreciation for the harvest.

Interesting side note.

Rather off topic, but...
Framers were not to reap the edges of there fleilds so the poor in need could freely glean from them. What a loving provision from God!

Touche! Often times what one believes is not in harmony with scriptural truth.(Matthew 7:21-24; John 4:23,24)
I should have provided a reference, so here goes.

Numbers 18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

Abel Vs. Cain The Bible Revealed

The Bible has many condensed passages. For instance one verse might cover a couple o decades. There are so many reasons for the Lord not accepting Cains offering. It could be as simple as the manner it was given in and not the actual vegetables that he offered.
