Why do women have to suffer through PMS every month? There are no benefits to feeling bloated, more emotional, or and being easily set from calm to angry in 2.5 seconds, over even the smallest of things. But many women suffer from this every month. But now there's a PMS that is much worse, called premenstrual dysphoric disorder, or PMDD.
I found an article on these conditions on ABCnews.com:
PMS Puzzle What To Do If Severe Premenstrual Symptoms Are Disrupting Your Life?
Over the last 15 years, the abbreviation "PMS" has become a well-worn part of Americans' everyday language. The term is tossed around in conversations at home, and even the office, sometimes to describe a generally cranky state of mind...

How do you cope or handle with your PMS?
I love to soak in a hot bath and try to use aromatherapy calming scents. I also tend to excercise more during this time, to me work out some of my irritability. I do this to keep my husband from 'running for the hills' every month. ;) lol

...well..I suffer really bad with PMS...specially in the first and second day : I just cannot stand nobody around me and the smallest thing drives me nuts!
I know men cannot understand but it is really hard for a woman to go through this. I like to sing a lot when I have the time of the month, it helps me to relieve stress, sometimes I just like to lay down and watch some TV specially when the second day arrives, I have a lot of pain sometimes.
I can understand that, LDS. When the pain hits you, have you tried using a hot water bottle where it hurts or a long soak in a hot bath? The heat really does wonders for the pain, even if it's only temporary, it helps for a little while. :) Mine used to hurt so bad, the doctor had to give me pain medicine to relieve it. But I didnt' want to go that route, because pain medicine can be addictive, so I started finding alternatives to the medicine. I did find that a heating pad, hot water bottle, or even a long soak in a hot bath does tend to help.
