I only read a couple of reviews about Whiteout and they weren't very positive. There were a lot of criticisms about its not being realistic. Is this movie like 30 Days of Night?

I think the trailer gives a hint with like the plane crash and then probably there's a convict on board or something. I haven't seen Whiteout so I'm just guessing.

Just to update this post. Whiteout is a bit of a detective movie with some thriller parts to it. I can't say if its realistic or not because I haven't lived in the Artic but I did enjoy it. It does keep you guessing all the time until the end but one thing I can't quite figure is how the doctor and the other guys got together.
