To me when we take the sanctity of marriage and portray it like a 'slut' show hat is going overboard! Think about it. What is the basis of the people meeting tonight and joining together have in common? On one part money, and the second part, beauty. Two vices that should not be the premis for marriage. It is ashamed that TV falls lower and lower. What are your thoughts?
From USA Today:
Third 'Bachelor' is no ordinary Joe
--------------------------------------------------
This time around, the guy really is a millionaire. Or at least, his
family has money. Andrew Firestone, great-grandson of tire magnate
Harvey Firestone, will be the next single searching for love tonight as
he takes the leading role in the third installment of 'The Bachelor,'
premiering on ABC at 9 ET/PT (if news events don't intervene).
I think it's ludercricous!!!!!! They ahve a TV show in the UK about Marriages, where the girl dresses up in a wedding dress and she ask the guy on national tele to marry her and he has to give her an aswer in 20 mins, depending on how it goe they have a pastor standing near by to marry them staight away.now that's ridulous, what happens to privicy and family.!!!!!!!

Wow that is worst than the US, at least there they give you an hour and quite a variety to choose from. *lol*
Seriously though... its all abbout money and nothing else.

Yes lafemme! I heard about it, it's crazy!!!. When I heard about it I thought that FOR SURE those women who are desesperate to get married and their boyfriends didn't ask the golden question yet they will definetly use the show to marry them!!! You know, the dress...the music...the pressure of national TV can make anybody to do something they really don't want to.
I totally agree LDS Â some wome are downrigh dissappointed on te tele, and I don't feel sorry for them one bit.Manuy of thm even split up,now that's too much for any one man to handle .I think even superman would contemplate going back to krypton if Louis Lane made such a proposal. :
I think it is completely wrong to do things like that. The entire 90's seem to portray nothing but the degredation of values in morals everywhere you looked. (At least here anyway). The famous scandels like Jessie Jackson and Bill Clinton...."It's okay to cheat, steal, and lie!"...and people will love you for it ... All of the reality TV Shows....Temptation Island, Joe Millionare, and Meet My Parents for examples...who in their right mind would do that who had any values?...and let's not even get into all the TV crap....Judge Judy, Jerry Springer, etc.
Okay...I'm going to stop rambling cause thinking about a lot of those things upset me.
To be honest Judge Judy really doesn't cross my mind that much. I don't watch much of daytime TV, just her show is one of the more well-known so that is why I mentioned it. There are a lot of shows out there that are worse than hers.
I have a lot of friends who are fanatics of the reality TV shows...they as well as 75 million other people love that stuff. I don't get into it, it is just my personal opinion but I think it is garbage. Almost all of it has the Jerry Springer feel to it. I personally have better things to do. (And like I said this is just my opinion, if others like it then that is your right).
