I like Paula but I think there won't be much loss if she isn't there. Simon is the show among the judges.
I like the fact that there should be three judges not four. I think that other girl was brought in for a season to oust Paula. I know she is a nice lady and I think she will bring good stuff to the show. This way Paula can get off the booze and make a fool of herself elsewhere.
Paula did look like she was high a few times. She does tend to bable too much but I guess people love her anyway.
I remember this girl - she was quite the strange one. Sad ending to an already sad tale.

American Idol Contestant's Death: Man Charged Alexis Cohen Struck, Killed by Car in New Jersey MYFOXNY.COM - A Toms River man faces charges in the death of Alexis Cohen, a former "American Idol" contestant. The Asbury Park press says Daniel Bark, 23, was arrested Sunday night in Atlantic Highlands on charges of causing Cohen's death by reckless driving and then leaving the scene. Bark could serve 10 to 15 years and is being held in Toms River in lieu of $35,000 bail. Cohen was the Allentown, Pa., woman who famously flipped off Simon Cowell at a local "American Idol" audition in Philadelphia. Cohen, 25, auditioned for the Idol judges twice and became known as "Glitter Girl" after her profanity-laced tirades against Cowell. |
Now that Paula Abdul left the show because she felt unappreciated (they basically did not mind to raise the salaries of ALL the judges including the host Ryan Seacrest) but they did not want to give Paula what she wanted....a new "Guest Judge" signed. She will be paid US$220,000 for a day of work. And of course, this is the moment where you think a serious singer, with lots of experience in the field will be judging...well ladies and gentlemen, the guest judge will be Victoria Beckham!

All I have to say is Paula isnt too smart. She had one hit album a long time ago and this thing landed in her lap and paid millions. Basically, I have heard she wanted more than Seacrest and about the same as what Simon will be inking soon. The network claims to have made her a offer, which basically means that they were willing to give her millions...but apparently not enough millions.
For what she does on the show, there is no way that she is going to do better than that sweet deal of a job!
And Victoria Beckham? Yeah, that would have been my next pick. They just should have signed Perez Hilton for ratings and spicy banter.
I used to watch American Idol but ever since they seemed to have a bias towards the contestants I switch channels. Jusges should not be trying to pursuade the voters to vote for a particular contestant. Its obvious the network sponsors already know who they want to have as the winner an they hope to guide us viewing iditots to choose it for them.
