I was really disappointed that Crystal didn't win, but I do think she will still be very successful. I enjoyed her performances last night almost more than the regular competition sessions - she was awesome!
Lee's first single is Beautiful Day, which U2 released a long time ago. What's up with that? Is this the first time it's a cover of an older song?
I don't begrudge Lee, I just think Crystal was robbed.

I agree with you completely Farseer. I think what happened is what always happens. The pre-teens and teen girls take over the vote and end up mass voting for the guy they like, talent or not. Lee has talent but no way compared to Crystal.
Also, Crystal and her boyfriend split on the eve of Idol finale. Apparently, it was too much for the guy who is a small town boy, she says she is a small town girl and wants the lifestyle and career but he does not.

Honestly, "there goes the neighborhood." I think all this hullabaloo over the judges is fascinating, and I think it will ruin their ratings. The show will never be the same without Simon Cowell, anyway - he was the icon of the program.
