Some of those older cartoons I remember My fav was Alvin and the chipmunks(esp. the christmas episode.)And woody the woodpecker(classic). And I'd like to add one Heckle and Jeckle. Those crazy black birds were the best.
I would also like to ask:Does anyone know how to get any of these mentioned cartoons on dvd or video?
I'm interested in anything from the late 60's thru the mid 80's.
In regards to Fat albert:I believe in started in the late 70's.
Well back in the day I loved to watch stuff like looney toons, tom and jerry, and garfeild. also I was a ver advent fan, and still am, of the thundercats and silverhawks. now a days I find myself in love with that of anime, and not your little kiddy ones that you see on tv and every, IE pokemon. I much prefer the more serious ones such as gundam wing, record of lodoss war, naruto, trigun, and excal saga. course I never could stand, and still don't to this day, scoobydoo. It was the same thing every time and even my child mind thought it wasn't funny.
I still highly despise all these American cartoons... Poor humor, as well as over used. Flintstones may be an exception... Mainly because in a few months I'll be learning under the woman who worked on that as well as Johnny Quest. *shrugs* Though instead I care a lot more for my anime. So far no one gets between me and my Great Teacher Onizuka, Zaion, EscaFlowne, Tenchi, Love Hina, YuGiOh, Pokemon, etc etc... o_o

I miss X-Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (talking about the early 90s versions for both). Few other cartoons matched those for action and surprisingly deep stories (X-Men was insane with its stories that would span multiple episodes
