Art Carving Wood

The most admirable thing about wood working art is there are no room for mistakes. Once you carve a piece of wood into a shape it is not like clay or paper where you can try to fix it - you must get it right the first time. I did some basic carvings in my early childhood days, but only as part of cub scouting. After that I never seemed to be much interested in it, mostly for the aforementioned reason.
