What might be cool is to see every GM have their own board for their RPGs but they might not want to do that here. I'm only saying because looking at the main board for all these member run RPGs its really jumbled up.
I doubt they'll do that cause they were reducing the numberof boards here awhile back but it would be kinda cool to see a board for each GM.
You are talking of having a separate section other than member wars for each Play by post game. Like how Medieval and super heros are separate? I think it is a interesting idea and I am not sure if JB would go for something like that. That is only something he can answer.
Yea it would be a great idea and alot neater, Even if it was just some other way to hold them all together, like a drop down menu, Click on the Gm's game title, then see all the available threads.
I don't know, I kind of like it how it is. Yes having separate areas sounds good but it will probably confuse new players even more. I really don't have any kind of difficulty navigating the thread as it is now. In fact I like that it's all in one spot so I don't have to jump back and forth.
Remember this is D&D Play By Post: How It Works and it is turning into more of a Suggestion Box which is what this Thread is for: Source 4 However I will address the things brought up and then some.
Play by Post and Oliron are correct. The Community is huge as it is... having more Boards to contend with just confuses the issue. We try our best to use the KISS principle here as much as possible despite dealing with millions of bytes of data, various ranges of Topics and RPGs. We have actually reduced what used to be 30 RPGs with their own Boards to the 8 Boards we have now.
With that said it will be good for each GM to clearly identify their Threads by using the same names on related ones. For instance "Orc Rush Game Thread", "Orc Rush Party Thread", etc. I think this is done fairly well for the most part. It will be also good if GMs use the same Threads for their stories rather than keep creating new ones. This enables you to use the formatted look for your particular Scenario otherwise you will end up with the default Member Wars style.
The other thing I think Players here do not realize is the number of features there are to help you. For instance there is the Favorite Button on each Thread. If you click this it keeps your Favorite Threads together. You can then access this via the "FAV" link in your Login info. See the attachment below.
Please spend time looking through the FAQ and Feedback pages so you all can better understand how the Community works and what it has to offer. Rally your support for one another and show appreciation. When last did you visit a GMs Intro Thread for instance and thank him for taking the time to run a game for you? Did you even vote for them as Member of the Month? The people that run these things are adults with responsibilities, children to take care of and so forth and like everyone else I'm sure they can use some appreciation for taking the time from their busy schedule to be here for you even if they just love doing it anyway.

Comments: What I'm curious about is how do you know players aren't fudging their dice scores if you don't actually see them roll the dice.
Its all about honesty man. People need to just trust each other. It does seem really easy to cheat though, but why would we? What's the fun in that?
