Michael Jackson - Page 9

Not surprised, really, but disappointed. I didn't follow the trial all that closely, but it seems the prosecution didn't make its case well enough. However, I don't see how MJ could even serve time -- I think the rumors of his suicide would be fulfilled if he had been convicted and sentenced to prison. He's too eccentric to just disappear into the world somewhere.

If he continues to associate with children in the manner which he's become accustomed, he's a fool; but I think he will, and there are probably a few thousand parents still willing to sacrifice their children for a slice of the multi-billion-dollar pie.

His music will be popular as long as it's actually "good" in the eyes of the public.

In my opinion, of course.

JACKSON 'PROBABLY' MOLESTED BOYS: JUROR

A member of a California jury who acquitted pop star Michael Jackson of molesting a 13-year-old boy said he believes the singer "probably has molested boys" but that there wasn't enough evidence to convict him on the current case.

What's next for the 46-year-old 'King of Pop'?
By Elysa Gardner, USA TODAY

As the TV news crews pack up their vans and the pundits move on to the next headline-grabbing trial, Michael Jackson's supporters and detractors are asking the same question: What does the future hold for the world's weirdest pop star?

Even before he showed up in court, Jackson had been plagued by waning album sales and a growing perception that his eccentricities overshadowed his musical gifts.

Still, the 46-year-old singer has a long history of personal and professional resilience, not to mention a track record that makes him appealing to record labels and several radio formats.

Well, the veredict was what I expected. I was surprised to read how many jurors really think he is a child molester but based on the evidence they could not convict him. There was not enough proof but this is not going to end here. We all know that pedophiles cannot help themselves, if he is one, he will do it again.

The question here is do we believe him? I doubt he will stop, just give him time...

I am guessing that the juror that went was not one of those that thought he did abuse the children, either way I do not know if it is ethical to turn up after a trial.

I also think that Michael Jackson is guilty, but since there is no evidence for it, he may not be, so I don't think the verdict is unjust. If he is, though, there will probably be more evidence for it in time.
