OK speaking as a person who was abused as a child. I can account for some of his behavior. Abused children spend their adult life reinventing themselves.
Michael never liked himself he always felt that he was an ugly duckling when in fact we was a beautiful swan, not mention he is very talented.
He is too trusting, and he lives in a world that is beyond himself, he doesn't belong in our time, because people in our time are not always who they seem to be.
I agree that Michael needs to be counseled but so does his whole family starting with his father. That man has serious issues and he passed those issues onto his children. I mean look at the whole Jackson clan. I just pray that the next generation of Jacksons look and learn from the mistakes or mishaps of the generation before them.
I think people target Michael because he is easy prey. Everyone is always talking about Michael and the children. What I would like to know is where are the parents of these children. I for one would not allow my children no matter what their age to sleep in the bed or spend the night with a grown man without my presence. Even if he had the best intentions in mind. If my children wanted to stay over at Michael Jacksons home I would not deny them this once in a lifetime opportunity but you better believe I will be staying the night there also and my child will be staying in the bedroom with me.
So I think instead of putting Michael on trial I think the parents should be on trial.

I believe that nobody really knows wether he is truly inncocent or guilty yet. I constantly hear people saying "Oh, he's definately guilty". They don't know that. Keep in mind we are also only hearing what the media knows so far, and what the media WANTS us to know.
Basically we're probably never going to know all the details unless we're in that courtroom.
Chocltequeen, I was talking with one of my students about the same thing today. I was saying that for me Michael Jackson is a very 'naive' person, he seems like he trusts too much in people and likes to share his feelings a lot...big mistake when you're in the Entertainment business But I feel he has good intentions but like Xtrasweetgirl said we will never know, there is no way we could know that.
I completely agree with the Naive perspective. Most of what I'm going to say has already been said, I just like to reiterate. Michael Jackson is just a very caring person. I think everything he does has been in the most innocent forms. MJ never had a childhood, as a young entertainner he lost all that. So, he is still kinda a kid himself. He loves to watch kids play and be happy, and be a kid himself. He has limitless amounts of love for children and their innocence, the very stuff he never really got to experience as a kid himself.
That's my theory anyways.
